Geo-Technical Investigations
- Geo-technical investigations are performed by geo-technical engineers or engineering geologists to obtain information on the physical properties of soil earthworks and foundations for proposed structures and for repair of distress to sub-soil strata and structures caused by subsurface conditions.
An ISO: 17025 (NABL) Accredited Lab
A wide variety of laboratory tests can be performed on soils to measure variety of soil properties i.e; index properties & engineering properties. Some soil tests measure “engineering properties” (shear strength parameter, consolidation, compaction etc) of the soil, while others measure "index properties" (GSA, Atterberg’s limits, DFS, Sp. Gravity, Density etc) which provide useful information about the soil without directly measuring the property desired.
